The timber and green colour palette in the design references the natural landscape of the surrounding playing fields, bringing the outside in.

Bespoke joinery provides easy access of materials and art supplies as well as sketchbook and student work storage space. New wall-mounted canvas hanging rails provide an innovative storage system for student work, conveniently removing clutter from the space and providing an opportunity for exhibition throughout the year.

Workshops were held to received feedback on the design from the students and staff, providing their insight and comments to the proposal.
