Two new voids inserted into a traditional terraced house maximise the sense of openness and lightness in a constrained site.

This project consists of a full renovation and reconfiguration of a house in Lewisham, opening up the former loft to create a dramatic double height dining space and a new mezzanine bedroom suspended above the living areas.
A new large skylight and window over the kitchen void brings in masses of natural daylight and frames the stunning view to the surrounding area.
Triangles of exposed brick walls are echoed in white ceramic brick tiles in the kitchen and bathroom areas.
