vPPR Architects are thrilled to have been selected as one of the AJ 40 under 40 emerging names of 2020.

This years 40 were chosen by a jury chaired by Architect’s Journal editor Emily Booth alongside architect, best-selling novelist and academic Lesley Lokko, The Guardian’s architecture and design critic Oliver Wainwright, Sarah Wigglesworth, head of sustainable design practice Sarah Wigglesworth Architects, and 2005 AJ 40 under 40 alumnus Anna Liu of Tonkin Liu.

‘The quality and range of submissions was both impressive and uplifting,’ said Booth. ‘The future of the profession looks rosy, and trying to choose just 40 of the brightest stars was an intense and rewarding process.

‘We think the chosen architects for class of 2020 truly reflect today’s society. It is a diverse roll call, which celebrates creativity, flair, new ways of practising, environmental awareness and entrepreneurialism.’
